Career Opportunities
The Associate of Science in Pre-Business is designed as a transfer degree to a Bachelor's degree offered by the College of Business at New Mexico State University. Students who earn this degree will have completed the first two years of most four-year business degrees.
The Associate degree in Applied Business is designed to prepare students for various middle-level entry jobs in business related fields such as Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, Human Resources Assistant/Benefits Coordinator, Customer Service Manager, Loan Officer, Purchasing Manager/Agent, Medical Billing Specialist, Administrative Assistant, Operations Manager, Business Services Representative, Computing Business Coordinator or Entrepreneur.
The Certificate in Applied Business Retail and Merchandising Services will enable students to acquire the fundamental business skills needed to manage and promote a retail sales operation.
