Frequently Asked Questions
HSE tests can be administered only to individuals who have not graduated. From an accredited high school or received a high school equivalency certificate or diploma. Who are not currently enrolled in a regular high school, and who meet the state’s minimum age requirement. The minimum age is 16. Individuals under the age of 18 are required to obtain and submit a completed Underage Permission Form. Indicating parental consent and local school district approval. New Mexico residency is not a requirement for testing.
Individuals ages 16-17 may pick up permission forms from the Adult Education Office in Martinez Hall, 2nd floor, Room 120. Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. To Complete the Underage Permission Form
- Call the Grants/Cibola School Administrative office to make an appointment and get the superintendent’s signature.
- Return signed and completed Underage Permission Form to the AE Office.
- A parent or legal guardian must accompany an underage student to enroll.
New Mexico HSE Transcripts must be requested through www.diplomasender.com You will need to provide the following information:
- Your email address
- Date of Birth
- Name tested under
- State where tested
- Identification number (usually Social Security Number)
- Name and address of the recipient
- Who and where the official transcript is to be sent. (Official Transcript usually means a formal, paper copy)
Transcripts cost $18.00 each. Credit cards, debit cards, or money orders are accepted forms of payment.
