The NMSU fixed payment plan managed by University Accounts Receivable (UAR):
- Students are encouraged to enroll with the payment plan when the (current semester's) outstanding balance is $200 or more!
- Each payment plan is semester-specific
- Fall & Spring semesters have 5 payments, Summer has 3 payments
- Payment plans are only available to students enrolled in the current semester
- Enrollment & Deadline dates are posted online at https://student-accounts.nmsu.edu/
- Application & Late Fees will be waived if you enroll in the Spring Payment Plan by the deadline dates.
- 1st payment is due at the time of enrollment
- Remaining payments are due by the 15th of each month
- $10 fee for each: (late, partial, or missed) payment
- Students cannot have a prior semester balance of $1,000 or more
- Payment amounts are subject to change for charges posted after enrolling in the payment plan
- Students whose Financial Aid arrangements are not received by the due date MAY need to enroll in a payment plan

Senior Citizens
65+ years old may enroll for 6 credit hours at $5.00 per credit, non-degree seeking.State law requires seniors pay full tuition for courses exceeding 6 credit hours.
All other fees are charged at their full rates
Registration:
- Option 1: First Day of class for $5.00 per credit hour and applicable course fees
- Option 2: Register prior to the first day of class and be assessed full tuition ($89.00 per credit) and applicable course fees

Withdrawal from the University
A withdrawal form must be completed with Student Services for a course or the University. This procedure may result in "F's" for all registered courses. Students that withdraw after the stated refund dates will remain liable for full tuition and fee charges.
Refund of Tuition & Fees Students officially withdrawing or dropping courses during the Spring 2023 semester are eligible to receive a refund as follows:
