Intallation
A typical service installation of starlink consists of these three steps.

  1. When the Student signs up for the service, a NMSU emplyee will review and if the student qualifies for a Starlink Satelite NMSU will reach out and schedule a site evaluation.
  2. Once a site survey is completed and if step 3 can be completed the same day it will. If not a later date can be scheduled.
  3. Finally, on the install date a technician will install the Satelite physically at the student's place of residence and run the cable inside the student's residence. This will require a 1 to 2 inch hole to run the calbe throught to the modem that is placed inside the student's residnce. The technician will provide the Wi-Fi name and password once the installation is completed.
