The NMSU Grants Academic Advising Department seeks to provide all students. With high quality and accurate academic and career success plans. Our goal is to help all students develop skills and knowledge. This will lead them to identify, plan and achieve educational goals. We are a student-centered office that provides hands on assistance. With pre-enrollment information, course selection, degree plan requirements, college transfer information, as well as career planning and job searching.

Advisor Availability

We offer advising by appointment, either in person or remote by phone or Zoom. Students and community members are also able to take advantage of drop-in advising. Our peak advising periods are during the months of August and January, and appointments are recommended during that time.

Scheduling your advising appointment is easy.
