This is a unique program. The nursing coursework will be conducted via live instructional television (ITV) from NMSU – Las Cruces. Students will participate actively in the lectures and coursework conducted in Las Cruces while sitting in a classroom on the Grants Campus.
The clinical and skills portion of the program will occur at the Grants Campus and be led by an NMSU nursing instructor.
Requirements: Maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA on Nursing Prerequisites. Consult the Department of Nursing advisors to have your prerequisite GPA calculated.
To be competitive for entry into the NMSU Grants’ Cohort, students are encouraged to have a minimum GPA of 3.3. Studies have found that students with higher GPA’s are more successful in completing the BSN and passing the required exams for licensure.
Costs: Current Las Cruces campus tuition and fees plus a $35 per credit hour distance education fee.
