Formerly funded by Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI, Title III) federal grants, NMSU Grants has worked closely with four local communities to establish educational outreach centers through partnerships.
The tables below characterize the outreach centers, supported by this federal grant. The NASNTI grant funds two different types of centers:
Computer Outreach at Acoma and To’hajiilee, were solely funded by the NASNTI grant including adult education instructors and tutors as well as computer lab resources;
Partnerships at Laguna, and Thoreau, which NASNTI supported through computer and software services donated to local community organizations.
