The IT office offers the following services for students: Password reset and Two-factor authentication help, laptop rental, NMSU software installation, personal device registration for Wi-Fi access. I.T. can also help with basic troubleshooting services on student owned personal devices for class use, but cannot assist on more in depth issues.
We support and maintain all of the NMSU-owned computers and peripherals, the IT infrastructure (including WiFi networks and servers) , the phone system, copiers, and printers. For faculty, we provide assistance with laptops for classroom use as well as projectors and interactive boards through our Crestron systems.
Check out our IT Orientation page and Canvas Support for students. We have lots of good information about getting the most out of your computer and the NMSU Grants technology resources.
Equipment Loans
The IT department provides laptops or Ipads for student use, free of charge, for eligible students per semester. Students must be registered for classes and be in good academic standing to be eligible. We have attached the Equipment Loan Forms for your convenience, please bring the completed form to the IT office to get the loan process started.

I-Pad | N/A | $310 |
You may also stop by our offices to pick up a printed copy. (IT must sign off on release)

*Please understand that we want to do everything we can to support your computing needs at NMSU Grants.
