I am Carol Prewett the science tutor for NMSU Grants. I have a B.S.Ed. and M.A.T degrees, I have experience in teaching regular education and Special Ed. Classes in all subjects but mostly science classes. I also taught College & Life Success here at NMSU. I have been tutoring here for 8 years. |
My name is Michael Rivers and I am the general education tutor, here at NMSU – Grants. I have an A.A.S. degree in Architectural Design Technology, with on-going studies in Architectural Design and Construction Management Technology. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and was awarded National Dean’s List 2005-2008, during my undergrad studies. I am very excited to assist NMSU students in the pursuit of their education and am eager to ensure them success in their endeavors, while promoting a wonderful campus life experience. |
My name is Sharon MacKendrick. I have a BA in Secondary Education, with a major in Mathematics and a minor in English, and an MA in Pure Mathematics. I have over forty years of experience teaching mathematics at the two-year college level, and I am now semi-retired and working as a tutor at NMSU-Grants. I enjoy helping students learn, and I look forward to working in the Student Success Center, either in person or via Zoom during my regularly scheduled hours. |

My name is Savannah Pena and I am the English and Writing tutor at NMSU - Grants Student Success Center. I have a B.A degree in English with a focus in technical and professional writing. I also have a M.A degree in English Education. Since graduating from university, I have written and published two novels, with the third on the way. This semester I am instructing the FYEX1110 First Year Experience course. I hope to help those of you in need as you travel down the path of academic success here at NMSU-Grants. |
