Completely Online Degree Programs allow student in Okinawa to graduate.

The May 2017 NMSU Graduation Ceremony was marked by the first graduate from outside the country.  A student who is living in Japan with her military husband was able to complete her degree completely online. “This is the beauty of a completely online program”, stated Karen Henry, Program Manager of the Computer Science and Creative Media departments.” Students have all of the benefits of attending a small college like small classes, low tuition and contact with their professors and can attend from anywhere in the world.” Pictured above is Karen Henry, Program Manager, presenting the student’s award to Danny Cristmann, her father-in-law, who utilized technology during commencement for his daughter-in-law, in Okinawa.

NMSU Grants has many certificate and degree programs that are offered completely online. For more information on NMSU Grants online program offerings, click here.
