NASNTI Program Specialist

New Mexico State University Grants, located in Cibola County in northwest New Mexico is seeking applicants for Program Specialist, U.S. Department of Education five-year Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions grant program (full-time/40 hours per week). Grant will end October 2016.   Salary: $41,000.00 minimum, Commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor degree in related field in hand by date of hire and three (3) years of professional experience related to the standard duties as outlined.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education or related field in hand by date of hire. Experience working with the following: US Department of Education grant programs; two years of budget, project development or project management experience desired; community college experience; experience serving non-traditional, and/or other at-risk students and experience collaborating community-based initiatives with New Mexico tribal communities.

Library Assistant

New Mexico State University Grants Campus has a full-time (40 hours per week, shift work M-TH 8-8, F 8-5, Possible Saturdays) job opening for Library Assistant. Requisition # 1400668S Level 4, Salary: $11.54 per hour with benefits. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D. certificate; Three (3) years of related experience; Equivalency of completion of a post-secondary degree or certificate may substitute for years of experience. Prefer: Knowledge of general library procedures and policies; Knowledge of automated library functions.
