Student Services continues to offer “Beth’s Brown Bag series” on Career Topics. There will be a Cover Letter workshop by Brian Johnson for students on Thursday, April 25, 4:00-5:00, Room 03, Martinez Hall. Come prepared to tailor your cover letter or create your first one! Wednesday, April 30, 6 pm, the Business Club is hosting a Panel of Business Professionals.  Brown Bag series, “Interviewing,” Thursday, May 8, 4-5 pm. Facilitated by Ambrosia Aranda.


Sascha Larrabee, Transfer Advisor, will take up to 8 students interested in transferring to a 4-year program to Las Cruces on May 1-2. The only requirement for interested students is a 2.0 GPA. Transportation and lodging is paid for, you’ll just need to pay for food. See Sascha to complete an application no later than April 10th.

Martinez Hall

Remember that April 14-18 is Spring Break for NMSU Grants. No classes will be held, but the campus will be open. Employees other than faculty will have normal work schedules. The Student Success Center will be open on Monday the 14th through Thursday the 17th from 1:00p-4:00p.

Free Office 365

Did you know that if you’re an NMSU student or employee you can use your NMSU Office 365 account to install the new Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote) for iPad – for free?

Just download the apps from the Apple App Store, then use your NMSU username and password (same as for your email) to register your app for full Office capability on your iPad.
